“You move too much. Just sit there and listen to your music.” Things like that are said to me by many people. It’s said because I move a lot when I listen to my music. I listen to hardcore music, so I enjoy moving. The music is energetic, and I feel the need to move. I usually cant movie move around in most public places without looking weird or stupid. So where can I go to move around and have fun with my music? Well: hardcore shows. Hardcore shows are extremely fun, and most people move at those. There aren’t like normal shows where you sit and watch the band play. These shows you act like a maniac and no one will criticize you. These shows mean a lot to me. As I explained, I love to move to my music. I love going hardcore and jumping around knowing I won’t be looked down by others. The bands jumping, the crowd jumping, the hearing-loss loudness at the shows just call your name for eccentric crowds, and I cant miss out on that
What if I couldn’t go to concerts? What if I couldn’t go places to act like a maniac? What if there was no way I could let loose and have a fantastic night? Well, that honestly would make my life much less fun and I would have much less to look forward to in my life. The fact that my parents let me go to so many is amazing. With the amazement of that, I am honesty truly thankful. I cant really imagine life without my concerts. They are, by far, the most fun activities I do, and they are what I look forward to each and every day and week. Anything from a local, small show to a large festival, or anything in between in marvelous. I realize that my parents are very lenient toward me with these shows, and for that I am grateful. I can’t tell for sure, but I think my parent realize that these shows mean a lot to me, so again, for that, I am thankful.
Thanksgiving is a happy day. I happen to love it. Thanksgiving for people brings out many traditions, some have a few traditions, some have very little, and some don’t really have anything they every year. For me, and for my family, we do have a few things we do. First off, my mom makes her “famous” seven-layer dip. It’s been an expectation since I was three. We bring the dip to my aunt’s house in Clinton Township. My aunt Kathy, who is my dad’s sister, hosts Thanksgiving every year for dad’s side family. This get-together consists of: Aunt Kathy, Uncle Bill, my cousins Jaclyn and Cynthia, my aunt Jerry, older cousin Billy, and my great aunt and uncle Bernice and Tom. We sit around for a while before the food is ready. I always watch the Lions lose every year, and I also play Mariokart. Mariokart is something that my cousins and brother have to do. We’ve been playing every year since I was at least five. It gets really intense, and we take it seriously. Cynthia wins pretty much every time, but I still have hope that I will sometime again. Once that’s over, we eat. We always have lots of food, and I usually eat and watch football with the guys. We always watch football, and it’s a natural Thanksgiving activity for men. My brother, parents and I usually leave around 6:30 or 7. We’re only there for around five-six hours, but it’s still a fun time and I look forward to it every year
I also move sometimes when I'm listening to music. :)
