A Super Awesome Thanksgiving at the Koons Home.

My Thanksgiving Nick Koons 5th hour. 11/18/12 I value the time I spend with my friends and family, because I believe the time you spend with people you care about helps you bond and create better and stronger relationships with people. The thing I find the most important to me is my ability to imagine, because without my imagination I probably would be a totally different person than whom you know. It gives me my character and personality. I'm thankful for the all the time I've been able to spend with my dad in the past weeks, because when I was younger, I never really spent a whole lot of time with him because he was always away on business trips, and so now its great just to hang out with him, because he’s amazing and fun to spend time with. My family doesn’t usually have a huge thanksgiving party like a lot of people do. We usually just have a few people over to eat an early lunch, watch the Americas Thanksgiving Parade, and we watch football. Then we have an early dinner at about 1oclock and we have a huge thanksgiving dinner. With loads of mashed potatoes, turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, turkey, and pumpkin pie. After dinner my sisters and I usually look on the radio for a station that’s playing Christmas music and jam out to it for the rest of the night.

  2. At my house, we don't watch football because to my family, Thanksgiving means one thing: food, food, and... oh yeah! food! But I'm also glad you value your ability to imagine!

    1. Yeah its a lot better than having a late dinner, especially if our dinner goes on for a long time like ours does.
